~ Everything You Need To Know ~

Transport

We are considering organising a bus service for our guests to travel from Warsaw to the venue on Saturday morning and back on Sunday afternoon. If this is something you would be interested in, please let us know in the RSVP section so we can make plans accordingly. This service will be subject to interest and availability.

Please note that there is no public transport option to reach the venue - the only other alternative is renting a car.

Accommodation

The wedding will take place in a charming, somewhat remote area at the border of Masovia and Podlasie. We recommend staying the night to fully enjoy the festivities.

It is possible to stay overnight either at the venue or in the open air museum. If you'd like to arrange accommodation, please let us know in the RSVP section, and we'll provide all the necessary details by email.

Gifts

We're thrilled to have you celebrate with us and the best gift of all is having you there. If you do wish to give something extra, we would greatly appreciate a cash contribution towards our future home.

Getting to Poland

Fly into Warsaw, which is the closest major city to our venue. We highly recommend spending a couple of days exploring the city. Alternatively, you may also fly into Krakow, Gdansk, or Wroclaw, all of which are well-connected to Warsaw and definitely worth visiting.

Weddings - Polish Style

The ceremony will take place in a wooden Catholic church, which is now located in an open-air museum. It was relocated from the village where Weronika's mum is from, the same place where her parents were married 30 years ago - making it especially meaningful to us.

Be prepared for a long, festive celebration filled with plenty of food, dancing, and vodka (should you wish to indulge). Polish weddings often last into the early hours, so ensure you're well-rested and ready to stay on the dance floor until the morning!

Feel free to practise the 'Sto Lat' song - there's a good chance you'll be called upon to sing it more than once during the celebration!

We would love for you to join us for a midday meal on Sunday, which will be held at the venue. More details will follow closer to the date.
